Proper receipt, material handling, storage & issue of required material to production.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Receipt / unloading / visual inspection / physical quantity verification of incoming material.
Verification of the supplier invoice, verification, GRN posting & handing over the documents to Finance.
Shifting the material to the central stores.
Ensuring right item & right place.
Manintaining BIN cards for all the items.
Issuing the exact quantity to production based on the purchase requisition.
Ensuring physical inventory accuracy with respect to system.
Adopting lean inventory management practices.
Maintaining FIFO system.
Preparing shortage report & sending to all the buyers.
Preparing the MIS - Shortage report, stock statement, manpower cost report, GRN pending summary.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of stores management.
Knowledge of tax structure.
Inventory management techniques.
Analytical ability
Knowledge about SAP
KPI's
GRN / GES on within 2 days
Rejection dispatch within 4 days
Inventory mismatch within 1.5 %
Ensuring 5 S & Safety Score of 90%
Keep inbound logistocs cost at optimum
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Graduation (any stream) with 9-15 years of experience in stores management.
